Michael J. Smith, M.D. is a board certified obstetrician/ gynecologist and has been practicing since 1991. He went to Texas A&M undergraduate, graduated from LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans and did his residency at Orlando Regional Medical Center in Orlando, FL.  He has done considerable training in bio-identical hormone replacement and restorative medicine. He lectures locally on the use of saliva testing and bio-identical hormone replacement. While providing the full spectrum of Gynecologic care, Dr. Smith is also offering cutting edge medical care in the areas of hormone replacement therapy, adrenal fatigue, weight management and restorative medicine.

Dr. Smith provides all routine gynecologic care such as annual exams, Pap smear screening, screening for sexually transmitted diseases, birth control management, treatment of abnormal Pap smears, biopsies, inpatient gynecologic surgery as well as treating most female health problems. Having problems with heavy or abnormal periods? Dr. Smith also offers in-office Novasure endometrial ablation to help you control heavy menstrual bleeding without the need for drug therapy or a hysterectomy.
